Holds a doctorate in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (2000), a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of São Paulo (1994) and a Sandwich Doctorate Scholarship from the University of Cambridge – Judge Business School, in England (1997/1998). Graduated in Business Administration from the University of Pernambuco (1989). He is currently a professor in the Business Department at the School of Economics and Administration at the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP). He coordinates a subproject in a thematic project financed by FAPESP since 2006. He is the Brazilian coordinator of the Global Call Center Research Project, an international research network that analyzes the transformations in the call center sector in 22 countries, and is Vice-coordinator of the General Administration area. from the Business Department (2007/2008) and was elected Director of the Academy of International Business – Latin America Chapter – AIB-Lat for the 2008/2010 period. He has experience in the Administration area, with an emphasis on Business Administration, working mainly on the following themes: strategic planning and management, internationalization of companies, strategy and innovation in multinational corporations, strategic knowledge management and researching the transformations in the call center industry.
